Kate Gets Harassment Restraining Order Dismissed

Kate’s client came to her after he was served with a Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) by his ex-girlfriend. Not only did the allegations fail to meet the standard for harassment, but there were many inconsistencies in the ex-girlfriend’s claims. An evidentiary hearing was held to contest the HRO. At the conclusion of the hearing, the judge ruled in favor of Kate’s client and dismissed the case, finding that the ex-girlfriend's allegations were unsubstantiated.
